The Invisible

Andrew Britton

Tensions between Pakistan and India are escalating, when 12 American climbers disappear in the snow-capped peak of Pakistans Hindu Kush range, and the White House is demanding answers. Brynn Fitzgerald, the acting secretary of state, goes to Southeast Asian to act as intermediary between leaders of both countries, and to nudge the search for the missing climbers along. Her motorcade is attacked on the outskirts of Islamabad, and the back-up team arrives to discover the disastrous scene - dozens are dead including seven diplomatic security agents, and Brynn has vanished without a trace.
The CIA learns that Saifi Amari, the bin Laden of the Sahara is the culprit, and Ryan Kealey must track him down. Again joined by British-born analyst Naomi Kharmai, Ryan realizes there is no margin for error. They will be working in the highest battlefield on earth, where anyone is fair game, and no one can be trusted.
