www.audiobooksdirect.com.au is the online store of Audio Books Direct a mail order bookshop that specialises in audio books. Why do we sell our audio books from a different website to that for our standard books (freepostbooks.com.au)?

Even though audio books tell the same stories as normal books it’s all a bit more complicated. Do you want an abridged (shortened) version instead of an unabridged (full, word-for-word reading) one? Perhaps its ‘unabridged’ but still not the full story—you find when it arrives, it’s a radio play or dramatisation of the book. Do you want standard or MP3 CDs? Do you care who, and what nationality, the reader is: Australian, English or American? We are happy to answer your questions by email or phone to make sure you get what you want.
